Description
This program offers comprehensive training in emergency response, focusing on essential skills from ECG interpretation and cardiac/respiratory emergencies to triage protocols and emergency department procedures. Participants will gain proficiency in patient assessment and emergency interventions.

Course Structure
- This course program constitutes multiple courses, each focussing on a specific subject area
- Each course constitutes the following activities:
- Pre-assessment- gets the learner warmed up to the topics they will be learning in the course. Helps them get their baseline knowledge level on these topics
- Learning Videos – a course will have learning videos on multiple topics relevant to the course. You can play/pause/resume/replay as per your convenience.
- Post Assessment – allows learners to assess their knowledge after having viewed the learning videos. Learners are expected to pass the assessment by obtaining at least 70% to complete the course, and they can attempt multiple times.
- Game based Learning- some courses have games that help knowledge reinforcement in a play way and breaks monotony
On completion of all the courses, 60 points will be awarded to the learner
Assignment
The Course Program culminates with an assignment. Learner has two options to complete the assignment:
- Option 1- take up one of the case studies provided in the course program. You can work offline, analyze the case study and detail your response with your experience and the concepts learnt in this course program.
- Option 2- you can also submit your own case study from your work area experience related to this program.
- Response can be written in a digital word document or hand-written format in 400-500 words
- The document should be in PDF or JPG/PNG image format
- Multiple image files can be uploaded
- Once uploaded, evaluator will analyze case study response and award scores
- Assignment Maximum Score: 15 points
Assignment Guidelines
An assignment is given to the learners after successful completion of the courses, to test their ability to implement their learnings in the workplace.
For the case study assignment, you have two options:
Option 1 – Select one of the provided case studies. You may work on this offline and submit your response detailing how you would apply the relevant concepts.
Option 2 – Alternatively, you can present a relevant case from your own professional experience to illustrate how you have used or could use the concepts learned to successfully manage the case. If you choose this option, please ensure patient confidentiality is maintained.
Please choose the option that best suits your experience and learning style.
- Response should be within 400-500 words and can be in a digital word document or hand-written and scanned
- The document should be in PDF or JPG/PNG image format
- Multiple image files can be uploaded
- Once uploaded, evaluator will analyze case study response and award scores
- Assignment Maximum Score: 25 points

- Key Nursing Considerations
- Key Nursing/Medical Considerations: Highlight important aspects of nursing or medical care, such as monitoring parameters, potential complications, and necessary precautions.
- Patient Education Points: Briefly outline essential information that should be communicated to the patient and their family regarding their condition, treatment plan, and follow-up care.
- Conclusion (25-40 words) Summarize how this case/essay reflects your understanding of the course content and your ability to apply it in practice
This assignment is your opportunity to showcase your clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to align nursing practices with hospital standards. Choose a case that you feel confident in and present it with clarity and professionalism.
Observership
For successful completion of the program, a 1 week observership is necessary. We will provide a list of recommended hospitals for this practical hands-on experience to the learner.
Alternatively, learners may choose a hospital of their preference. This will require a written acceptance from the hospital in the format provided. This acceptance has to be approved by Hxplain.
Upon completion of the observership, the designated external guide will need to fill out the provided evaluation forms and submit them to Hxplain. Successful completion of the observership will be awarded 25 points.
