Processes in Emergency Department
This module outlines the workflow and critical responsibilities in the emergency department. It highlights rapid patient assessment, managing diverse emergencies, addressing medico-legal issues, and providing care for unknown or unconscious patients efficiently and safely.
Triage Management
This module teaches structured triage in emergency care. It emphasizes prioritizing patients by severity, coordinating the team, managing families,maintaining organized workflow and accurate documentation.
Basics of ECG and Cardiac Care
This module introduces essential aspects of cardiovascular emergencies. It focuses on understanding heart and lung function, recognizing critical conditions like hypertensive crises and cardiac arrest. It also focuses on using ECGs and defibrillators for timely intervention.
Managing Tachyarrythmia & Bradycardia
This module covers the recognition and management of heart rhythm abnormalities. It teaches identifying different arrhythmias, understanding their characteristics, and applying appropriate interventions to ensure patient safety.
Respiratory Management
This module focuses on assessing and managing breathlessness, providing oxygen therapy, and addressing respiratory failure. It equips healthcare providers with strategies to support lung function, optimize patient comfort, and maintain effective respiratory care.
Handling Emergencies: Bites, Stings & Fractures
This module focuses on the recognition and management of common medical emergencies, including poisoning, animal bites, and fractures. It equips healthcare providers with the skills to provide timely interventions, stabilize patients, and prevent complications.
Fluid Management and Shock
This module teaches healthcare providers to recognize, assess, and manage patients in shock effectively. It focuses on rapid stabilization, understanding underlying causes, and applying appropriate interventions to prevent complications and improve survival outcomes.
